A Democracy based on ballot choice
Defenders of Liberty is a 501 (C)(4) organization that respects individual rights and believes the health of our democracy is built on ballot choice. But for too long, voters have been deprived of the opportunity to face true options at the ballot box. And without true ballot choice, our values suffer and government runs amuck.
We are a team of experts committed to doing the hard work to ensure that voters can fully express themselves. Join us and ensure that voters can pick liberty!
Battleground Ohio:
A decade ago, crooked politicians rigged the system to make Ohio one of the most restrictive states in the nation for ballot access. So-called “reforms” made it impossible for freedom-minded organizations like the Libertarian Party to maintain minor party status and ballot access. Today, every minor party in Ohio has been eliminated while so-called conservatives in Columbus attack liberty daily.
The Defenders of Liberty intend to bring ballot access back to the buckeye state. But overcoming the tyranny of the two-party system will require an immense amount of resources and support now.
